Death From Above

I’ve never taken a shot like this before – to be honest I didn’t even know how to begin to process it… but it pretty much unfolded all by itself. Nice when that happens. The light was glorious and I felt pretty good being awake and out of the city as the day unfolded. A rare moment indeed. This is mostly one exposure, with the exception of the foreground tree on the right which I blended in from a separate exposure due to the fact that it was much closer and required a separate shot to get it in sharper focus (which incidentally is not visible on this crop lol) see the 500px page in my bio later tonight for the full image.
