Keyhole

Ruby Beach has so many great opportunities for photos. This particular spot has been photographed many times by far better photographers than I, but I am pleased with this capture as it was taken in less than great lighting conditions, but still appeals to me. I feel like my composition is getting stronger, and relying less on crazy light and being drawn in by the flow of things. I am sure I have a long long way to go, but I can feel things getting better (at the very least, more intentional!) This is a blend of 5 images. One for the sky, and 2 for the water movement blended together to form the nicest leading lines, one for the rock formations and a final image to get the foreground rock in sharp focus. (Which is cropped out due to the Instagram format).
