This is a shot of Palouse Falls captured at about 4:30am. @tomhill_photography and I arrived at the falls at about 11:00pm and set up for the sunrise. At about 4:30am, the moon was so bright it woke me up in the tent. It was time to get up! The clouds were moving pretty fast and the light pollution in the West made for an interesting shot. I am so glad we got woken up and shot this as the sunrise was a pretty bland display sadly.
This is composed of 8 shots in total – 7 vertical panoramas stitched together with 30 second exposures for the sky, and a final exposure in the horizontal position for 245 seconds to capture the land.
