On our trip to the Columbia River Gorge last fall, @tomhill_photography and I made the rounds to some of the more accessible spots such as Elowah Falls, Oneonta Gorge, and this little spot called Ponytail Falls. This was our last stop before we had to drive back to Canada and it was pretty late in the morning. The light was not looking too promising that morning but when we made the climb to this gem, we were surprised to see what a great spot it was, and what a lovely morning we were having. It was by no means Earth shattering, but definitely worth the effort to get there. This was a blend of two images. One for the majority of the scene and an extra longer exposure for the water motion. I absolutely cannot wait to go back to Oregon.
